Hey guys! Sorry I have been so MIA lately… We have had back to back company in town for the past two weeks and I have been busy busy busy! First up my niece came into town that I haven’t spoken to for the past few years so we had to get through lots of talking/healing and forgiveness. It was so good to get to reconnect with her and I feel like it helped heal my heart so much. Sometimes important people in our lives hurt us and it’s so hard to move on and get passed it. But at the end of the day, you can’t truly ever move on until you forgive. I have fully forgiven her and she has fully forgiven me, so we are both looking forward to what future adventures life throws our way.
Then this past week my friend Melanee and her sweet family came into town all the way from Oakland California. I became friends with her a few years back when I was making youtube videos about my infertility struggle. Unfortunately, she was dealing with the same thing. She has an amazing stepson named Chris (Who you can see in the video clip below) and now also has her miracle Rainbow baby Makana. (His name means GIFT, is that not absolutely precious!) So while we were both dealing with all of the crazy emotions and ups and downs from struggling with infertility we became good friends through our messages back and forth. I found her to be a strong source of friendship and comfort during those trying times and I truly believe that she was placed in my life at just the right time when I needed a good friend. We have since met twice now and it’s really great because our husbands get along great as well and we love both of their boys to pieces. They are a family who loves the beach and being on the water as much as we do so it’s a great friendship for us all the way around. This past Saturday Melanee and I took a little time for just us girls to go hit up one of my favorite snorkeling spots while her husband babysat. We took her go pro and got some awesome underwater footage of our adventure. I vlogged my past week as usual but since we did end up getting so much underwater footage I am making a second video to that vlog so that I can have all of those memories on Youtube as well. So be on the look out for that video coming up soon. In the meantime, if you want to check out my adventures with them from last week then just click on the video below.
Thanks for stopping by guys!
