This past week has been busy, busy, busy for me! My sister and niece were here over the past weekend and we had so much fun hitting the beaches and getting to go shopping together. Then I had back to back doctor appointments on Monday and Tuesday. And then on Tuesdays appointment that led me to making to another appointment for this Friday morning where I have to go in when they open at 8am and do some “fasting” blood work. I don’t know about y’all, but I hate having to get up and get going without my morning cup of coffee so that should be interesting… I am still healing well from my breakout of HSP but now my doctors are also leaning towards that I have some sort of Autoimmune disorder. So we are trying to get that all sorted out now and figure out exactly which one I might have. I feel like I am always running to appointments now but I am so thankful for the team of doctors that I have trying to help me figure everything out and get to the bottom of all these crazy health issues I’ve been having. Now if I could just get some energy back and start sleeping well again, that would be great!
I guess hurricane Matthew should be hitting the East coast of Florida at some point today. I can’t even imagine how scared I would be if I lived on that coast and in the path of this storm. We live in the Northwest part of Florida (Near the bottom right corner of Alabama near Gulf Shores) So luckily for us, we are no where near this storm. But honestly, the longer I love here, the more I get nervous about living on the water. And we are just on the bay water, and not the gulf. But these storms usually hit both really hard. After seeing the news footage of Haiti and Cuba, it has totally freaked me out. All of those poor people in Haiti just have no where to go. Could you even imagine? I have been praying constantly for the safety of all people that are in the path of this storm. This is one scary storm!
I hope that you all are having a great week so far, and that you and all of your families and friends who might be in the path of Matthew stay safe.
