Y’all I feel like Pixi created this collection just for me! If you are a Summer girl like myself, you probably spend a lot of time outside in the sun and enjoying getting your Vitamin SEA. Well, as fun as all those summer activities may be, they can really do some serious damage to your skin as I’m sure your well aware. This particular Vitamin-C collection helps to brighten, protect and preserve your most healthy skin possible. And who doesn’t love that? I know I do! I have been using the above products for over a month now (Probably closer to 2 months) since I am a slacker with getting blog posts up and all. But my point is, I have been using these long enough now to get a true feel for how well they work and let me tell you, these are great if you are looking to brighten up that dull lackluster skin.
One of my favorite products in this collection is the Vitamin-C Juice Cleanser. Pixi describes this cleanser as a “Brightening cleansing water with stable vitamin c for potent antioxidant effect.” I love the nice citrusy scent and how it makes my skin feel after using. You don’t have to rinse this cleanser either which makes it perfect for quick cleansing while traveling. The nice pump applicator makes it super easy to use and pumps out just the right amount. I love using this right after we have come from the beach just to quickly remove any sunscreen and sand off my face, neck and chest. I think this is has totally become a summer staple for me.
The vitamin c tonic is a nice refreshing treat that is packed full of antioxidants and promotes healthy collagen production. I know at my age I am always thinking about collagen these days so I love that this product can help with that. And the vitamin c serum works for brightening and giving you a boost of radiance. I like to use this at night in my evening skincare routine right after using the tonic.
The vitamin c lotion is a very nice skin brightening moisture lotion. But just a warning- this stuff is thick and feels a little heavy upon first application but once it gets absorbed into the skin you forget it’s there. I use this every evening and in the mornings as well. But I only put it on my dryer areas since it is a little heavy. The vitamin c caviar balm is an encapsulated vitamin mask. I use this 2-3 times a week and apply right before bed. This helps to promote healthy collagen production, and is known to boost skin’s luminosity. I feel like when I use this my skin definitely looks more radiant when I wake up the next day so I highly recommend giving this a try. On Pixi’s website they have a little kit called “Best Of Vitamin C” and it comes with a tonic, and the vitamin c lotion and caviar balm for just $22 so that is a great set to get and try out a few of the products in this collection. You can purchase that kit here https://www.pixibeauty.com/collections/vitamin-c-collection/products/best-of-vitamin-c?variant=12418289369184
Have you tried out anything from this collection yet? I can’t wait to try some of their new retinol skintreats products! I feel like with each new collection they bring out their skin treats just keep getting better and better.
