I have been using Pixi products for over 2 years now and I have to say that the Pixi Skin Treats are one of my absolute favorite lines out there. I heard skincare guru Caroline Hirons talking about the Glow Tonic and I was instantly intrigued so I ran out and bought a bottle the very next day. And it’s been nothing but love for Pixi ever since. I also use the cleansing balm in my nightly routine but I am looking forward to when it runs out just so I can try out the new double cleanse that she and Pixi collaborated on. Then I have several of the Pixi facial mists as well including the Hydrating Milky Mist and The Glow Mist. The glow mist has been a huge game changer for me because it seriously gives me such a nice glow whenever I add the mist over my finished makeup. So when I saw that there was an Overnight Glow Serum in the line of course I had to try it as well.
Pixi claims that the serum gently exfoliates to reveal a healthier and more even skin tone. And I could use help in both areas so I thought this sounded like something that I could really benefit from using. I love glycol acid (Hence my love for the Glow Tonic) and this contains 10% Glycolic as well, plus Aloe Vera, so it sounded like a total WIN/WIN to me. I ordered mine online from Target.com for $24 along with some other items and then just picked it up in store. (So yes I purchased this product with my own money.)
Notice how it says that it helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines? Anything that can do that for me is my new best friend! I don’t think that my lines are too bad yet, and I stress yet, because I live in the state with the harshest sun rays so I am bound to be old and wrinkly in no time. (In case you wondering, YES I do wear sunscreen every single day) I am just trying to do anything I can to help diminish the look of my little lines and so far I am loving this product for that purpose. After I do my nightly skincare routine I add this to my skin right after my toner or Glow Tonic has completely dried. It has a nice silky texture to it so I really love putting it on my skin however it does feel kind of sticky when you first apply it. But it dries quickly and then it no longer has that sticky feel to it.
I have very dry skin and find this serum to be very moisturizing. I am not sure how this would work on super oily skin though as it might make your face feel overly oily. But for my super dry skin this soaks right in and I immediately feel like I have much softer, suppler skin which is such a great feeling. I also have very sensitive skin and have not had any issues with this causing any irritation. I even tried pairing it with a Retinol and it still didn’t bother me at all so I am super impressed!
I have not noticed it diminishing any superficial sun damage yet as it claims it will, but then I am not really worried about that since I mainly bought it for the glycolic acid in it and for it’s exfoliating properties. I have been using this nightly for around 2 months now and I am very satisfied with my results. I think as far as a nightly serum goes this one has been the best I have ever tried by far. The only thing I would suggest is not using this if you have oily skin like I mentioned before or if you are in a hurry to go to bed, because it will take a few minutes to dry after application.
I will definitely be repurchasing this serum since it has become a holy grail status for me now. So tell me ladies, which Pixi skin treats products are you obsessed with? I need suggestions as to what I need to try next.
I’ve never tried this but I need to add it to my must-try list! I LOVE their mists!!!
I agree, their mists are awesome! I want to try the new SPF one and the vitamin mist now.
I’ve heard so many positive reviews about the Pixie skincare line. This Pixi Overnight Glow Serum sounds like something I would like to try! Great review Julie!
Thanks girl! You deff need to try something from the Pix skin treats line. They do have some travel size kits to start with on the Pixi website. That would be a great way to experience a few products at once for a low price.
I need to try this out because I struggle with dry skin! Thanks for your honest, helpful review!
Oh girl my skin is so dry and seems to be getting worse the older I get! I love facial oils a lot too.
This sounds like a great product. Not sure if it would be great for me specifically because I have combo/oily skin.
Yeah I don’t think this would work well for you honestly but the glow mist would probably work good for u girl!
This has been on my must try list for awhile. I have used Pixi’s Glow Tonic a few times and I really loved that. This sounds just as great. =)
If you like the glow tonic then you will probably like the Overnight serum. I love how soft it makes my skin and I think the combo of all the Pixi products that I have been using is making a huge difference with my uneven skin tone as well.
I LOVE Pixi, they have so many great skincare products!
Their glow mud mask is one of my FAVES! But I have yet to try this…I think once I run out of my current serums, this will have to be next on my list to try.

It sounds absolutely wonderful! I haven’t tried this yet, but I’ve been very impressed with other Pixi Skincare products. Thanks for this review.

I can’t remember if I tried this one or not. I love the Glow Tonic and the Cleansing Balm together. They make my skin super soft. I’m also waiting to use up the balm so I can go out and get the Double Cleanse. I’ve heard good things, and so far their products are solid in my routine. Unfortunately, I can’t use any of the ones with rose in them, since I’m allergic. Bummer, because they smell so nice!
