While on the hunt for some new moisturizers to try, I stumbled across this Physician’s Formula Ultra Nourishing Argan Oil. I have not had very much experience with facial oils of any kind. I was one of those uninformed women who thought that if I put any type of oil on my face, that it would break me out all over. But this past year I finally took the plunge and have begun trying out different types of oils on my skin and I must admit that I am really enjoying the benefits of the oils on my skin. When I saw this product at my local CVS my initial thought was that this probably was not a very high grade argan oil but the company states that this is 100% PURE Argan oil. At the retail price of $14.99 for a nice sized product of 1 Fl.Oz/30 Ml, I think this is an absolute STEAL!
This Multi Tasking Product works to:
So it’s kind of like getting 5 products for the price of one! This product is hypoallergenic, fragrance free, gluten free, paraben free, non-comedogenic, and dermatologist approved. It is a very weightless oil that totally transforms my skin from completely tired and dull looking to very full, supple and bright. I put this on first thing in the morning after washing my face as a primer and protector. I let it soak into my skin for at least 30 minutes before I apply anything else. I have had a problem before where by mid day, my makeup is always creasing around my nose and I have always thought it had something to do with my moisturizer. Well now that I use this first, I have not experienced that problem once since using this first before applying my makeup. It keeps my face completely moisturized throughout the day and I think it is even helping to minimize my fine lines under my eyes and around my mouth.
I have combination skin with my T zone being my oily area and this still works fine on me without making that area look greasy. But I will say that I am only slightly oily, so if you are super oily in the first place then I don’t know that I would want to use this on those areas. If I ever get too much product out on my fingers then I just rub the leftover oil between my hands and then run it through the ends of my hair. It is completely safe to use on your hair and it actually makes your hair super shiny. Just be careful not to over apply it or use on your hair if you already have naturally oily hair in the first place. Since there are so many uses for this product, I have fallen completely in love with it. And I literally have used it daily since purchasing about two months ago and it looks like I have barely touched it. But it only takes like 1-3 drops to cover your entire face and neck are so a little goes a log way with this. But once it starts getting low, I will most definitely be repurchasing this liquid gold.
Have any of you guys tried this out yet? And what are your thoughts on facial oils in general. Let me know if you have any favorites that I need to try!
Stay Beautiful & Blessed!
