I recently started wearing falsies again and quickly remembered why I quit wearing them in the first place… The glue! I have tried so many different types of lash adhesives and just never found “the one.” But I absolutely love how much more confident I feel when ever I am wearing lashes so I decided to start testing out some new ones and see if I might find one that would work for me. One of my biggest issues is that I have super watery eyes, and the slightest scent from an adhesive sets them off so then they are watering profusely and it is almost impossible to keep a set of lashes on. So I set out to find some choices that were latex free and that did not have a strong scent. I will tell you that my search didn’t yield much success unfortunately. But I did find one gem that has not only worked well for my needs, but has also impressed me as well, and that is the Kiss Lash Couture Strip Lash Adhesive.
This adhesive is free of Latex and Formaldehyde, Is Dermatologist tested and is infused with Biotin and Blueberry extracts. I normally choose clear lash glues but this one only came in black (Or at least that is all that my Walgreens carried) so I decided to give it a try anyway. It blends in well with my black liquid liner once it dries, the only difference in them is that the lash glue is shiny and my liner is more of a matte. But I mean seriously, the only person that should even be close enough to me to notice that is my husband. (And I dare him to say something about that… LOL)
There is a decent amount of product in this for less than $4, so you will get a lot of uses out of this one tube. There is almost no scent at all which is fantastic for someone like me with sensitive, watery eyes. And I love the thin applicator brush that this comes with, it makes applying the adhesive super easy and mess free. The adhesive itself is slightly more watery than a lot of glues that I have tried but I actually prefer this type of formula now over the thicker ones.
This has made wearing lashes again a total breeze for me and I am obsessed! The biggest tip I can give to those of you who say that you just can’t apply falsies is that you must wait for the adhesive to get tacky before you ever even attempt to put them on. I know it is so hard to sit and wait, but it’s the best thing you can do to insure that they will go on properly. The instructions normally say to wait about 30 seconds for it to get tacky but I normally wait about 1-2 minutes and then it is perfect! And I would recommend this glue to anyone lash newbies or seasoned falsie pros alike, so go get yourself some and try on a pair lashes girl.
I hope you have found this interesting or useful in some way. But even if you didn’t, thanks for stopping by and giving me so0me love! <3
Ooh this sounds fab especially as it’s latex free! I’m allergic to lash glue normally so I need to hunt this down xx

It sounds like a great lash glue! I have somewhat sensitive eyes too so I know the struggle. Thanks for the tip on application too. That’s my biggest issue. I don’t wait for it to get tacky. I’m so darn impatient lol. I’ll take your advice though. 🙂
These look amazing on you!!! I’m HORRIBLE at applying false lashes (I know, how can I even consider myself a beauty blogger) HA!!!!
I hate that particular pair of lashes but I LOVE LOVE LOVE this glue!
