Okay Y’all, I have found the perfect shade lipgloss for everyone! (Well, okay that might be a bit dramatic) BUT, in my defense this gloss is like sheer perfection.
The Pixi LipLift Max gloss in the shade “Honey Sheen” is absolutely beautiful. It is a very sheer natural nude shade with tiny bits of sparkle in it that reflect light beautifully. It is one of those shades that you can wear over a nude liner, alone, or on top of almost any other shade lippie to provide just the right amount of gloss and sparkle. I am not usually a fan of any type of sparkly glosses, but the sparkle in this is so fine and actually very flattering.
As you can see from my photo above, this is the PERFECT “My Lips But Better” Shade!
This gloss contains Peptides for plumping, however I have yet to notice any type of plumping action when I wear it. It has a slight tingle to it but it is very mild, and it has a nice peppermint smell that I enjoy. It contains Aloe for healing, Jojoba for moisturizing and Chamomile for soothing, so it is not only a gloss but actually acts as a treatment as well.
Notice the fine sparkles in the picture above.
The gloss is semi sticky, but also creamy at the same time. And I have noticed that the stickiness seems to wear off the longer you wear it. I enjoy this being on my lips and find it very comfortable for daily wear, but then glosses have never really bothered me. (Other than when I accidentally wear it on a windy day and the wind keeps blowing my hair into my gloss. That’s the WORST!). The only downfall I have found to this is that it does not plump my lips up at all. But then, I do have super small lips and it takes some serious plumping action for me to notice any difference in them at all. But I would not purchase this for the plumping sensation anyway but rather for the shade of the gloss and for the nice moisturizing ingredients.
I think the name Honey Sheen is a perfect choice for this shade because it is such a lovely nude with a hint of a light honey brown to it. And when you swatch it on your skin it just kind of melts right into your skin and looks like honey too. I wanted to add a swatch picture for you guys but I just could not get a good picture of it (I think because it is so glossy and sheer). But you can see from the pictures above just how beautiful it is. Have any of you tried out any of these Pixi Lipmax Lift glosses yet? I am planning on buying the Pink shade next in “Petal Ice” since I love this one so much, I figured I might as well try another color.

I need to check this out!
This is such a gorgeous shade on you! I struggle with glosses because I hate when they are sticky! I will for sure check this out!
Must try
I love that color!! Looks great on you!!
I agree with you Julie! It does start off tingly/sticky, but it dissipates. It ends up being very creamy. Love the color.

I’m not a huge fan of glosses or ones with little color payoff. However, I do like throwing on a simple, light lip color on days I don’t wear any makeup. Thanks for reviewing this!
You do love your nudes! I think I had this sent to me, but it isn’t my thing, so I gave it away. I should’ve asked you! I haven’t been too keen on their lip products, since they aren’t that impressive. At least the ones I’ve tried, and those are all lipsticks lol!
