This Cargo blush has been out for awhile but I was recently lucky enough to win an awesome Instagram giveaway from a fellow blogger Glamour And Giggles19 and this blush was on of the prizes. I have tried out a few different Cargo products before, but never one of their blushes. This particular blush is called “The Big Easy” and I can see why. It is a perfect, daily wear shade that would look beautiful on almost all skin tones.
Cargo Cosmetics describes this blush as a “silky smooth cheek powder that creates a naturally flushed look.” I would definitely agree with that statement. This blush goes on very lightly, and is almost sheer so you can wear a light dusting, giving you that flushed like look, or you can also build it up to bring out the gorgeous undertones in it.
This shade is a gorgeous sheer peach with some light golden shimmer. The shimmer makes the blush look like it has a bit of a built in highlight to me. But it is only visible if I am in the right type of lighting and actually looking for it. So even those of you who are not fans of shimmer will not be bothered with the fine shimmer in this. I think it would look absolutely amazing on darker skin tones or those of you with a tan. I am very fair right now but I still think this shade looks beautiful on and would complement almost any look. I just feel like it would be even better suited for those who are a bit darker than me.
I have been looking for a new everyday blush to replace my old holy grail fave (Milani Luminoso) ever since they changed up the formula on it and I think this might be my new replacement. It is just so easy to blend, and takes very little product to achieve a nice wash of color with. It seems to last all day on me and doesn’t break me out or cause any type of skin irritation. I have very sensitive skin and the only place I usually break out on is my cheekbones and this does not bother me at all. It retails for $26 over on the Cargo Cosmetics website but can also be found at other places online as well. Now that I have fallen in love with this blush I can’t wait to try other shades from this brand! Have any of you guys tried out a Cargo blush before?
