Thankful Thursday

Simple things I am thankful this week...

A good cup of Coffee and all my cute mugs.

Blogger friends Christine From Simplystine.com and Carly from Carlysusanne.com

Steroids... (Not the kind body builders use) but rather Prednisone. For helping to heal my skin!

The GORGEOUS weather we have been having.

Made plans with my sister and they are coming to visit at the end of this month!

Fall Candles... Need I say more?

Books. I have dove head first back into reading again and I even joined a local bookclub.

Dollar Tree. Because I can walk in there and buy whatever I want... LOL. But seriously, I'm not kidding!  #DollarTreeBaller

Friends/Family who actually take the time to text or call to see how you're doing.

Cheerios. Their not only tasty but I love that they help to lower my Cholesterol.

Ulta 21 Days Of Beauty Sale. Very thankful for these great bargains!

Conversations with my Nannie. (Grandma) She is literally one of the funniest women on the planet.

Lite Whip Cream with Berries. My most recent favorite dessert addiction.

My 1 new blog follower on Bloglovin. Whomever you are, THANK YOU!

TJ Maxx for all of my awesome finds this past week including a new Fave mug, 2 KVD blushes, and a few TooFaced Lip Injection Lippies.

My boys, Allen and Dax. For whom I will always be thankful and blessed to have in my life.

And last but not least, I am thankful for LIFE.

I just heard earlier this morning that a friend of Allen's had to rush his wife to the hospital because she was having chest pains. They are both in their mid forties, so still pretty young. Not even an hour later, Glenn posted to the guys fishing group text that his lovely wife had passed away. I cannot even imagine what he must be going through right now. They were just on vacation together last week and had an amazing time together. Then today, in the blink of an eye, she's gone. Please say a prayer for the King Family today if you don't mind.

Stay Beautiful & Blessed my friends! And don't forget to hug your loved ones and tell them that you love them. It's a scary thought but we all just never know when it's going to be our time. :(

  1. I always say, we are never guaranteed another tomorrow. I'll for sure keep that family in my thoughts and prayers. That's heartbreaking.

I'm so glad to hear that you are finally getting back to normal! I was so worried about you for a while.

    xoxo

    1. I still can't wrap my mind around it. Our friend posted on his Facebook page the last words he had said and texted to his wife and it literally just broke my heart. Her funeral is this Friday in South Georgia and I can't get off work to go but my husband is going to take the day off and go be there for support. Thanks for the prayers. That poor family has been hit hard.

  3. I'm so sorry to hear about your husband's friend's wife. :(

I'm with you on the fall candles. They really do make me happy. I love when my home smells like pumpkin and leaves. I also do the berries and cream, but I use coconut cream. So good! :)

    1. My skin deff looks better but now it looks like I have strawberry "patches" or red clothes everywhere, But, I will happily take that over bleeding blisters any day! My doctor is very please at how i am healing and said later on my skin should look completely normal with no discoloration. The only problems I am having from this disorder are random stomach and joint pain. (Which are both normal with this disease.) So over all I am healing well in my opinion!
