Emjoi Micro Pedi Review

If your like me and live in sandals or flip flops all Summer, then you know how important it is to keep your feet looking nice and in good shape. But going to an expensive salon to have a pedi isn't always in everyones budget. So the answer to that dilemma is to just do your own at home pedicure. I have been doing my own for several years now after getting a pretty bad infection in one of my toes after a salon pedicure. So I love trying out new products and gadgets that will help me get the best out of my pedicure. I purchased the pedi egg last year and while it did work, it is nothing like the Emjoi Micro Pedi! This product simply does exactly what it says it does, and it does it well.

I've found that I like to use this after soaking my feet first in some warm water with either bubble bath or a foot soak. Then, I towel dry them off and then let them air dry for a bit. Once dried, I use the micro pedi to remove any calluses on my heels and also any dead or dry skin on my feet. You don't have to push hard or put any pressure on it while using, you just lightly run it across the area that you are targeting and it removes the unwanted skin easily without any real effort. The end of the micro pedi is actually a mineral roller that spins an impressive 30 times per second so it works super fast as well. My only complaint is that my feet are super ticklish so, I literally laugh out loud whenever I use it.

I tried using one of those metal blades on my feet but those things are terrifying to me. I mean you are actually running a razor blade right across your feet, so how safe can that be? Well let me tell you there is no need to use one of those awful things, because the micro pedi does just as nice of a job if not better! And it is completely safe and easy to use. My husband walked in one night as I was using it and asked me what it was. I explained and showed it to him and then ended up using it on his feet. In all 25 years that I have been with this man, he has NEVER let me touch his feet! He is super sensitive and ticklish like I am but this didn't bother him at all. He had some pretty rough callouses on the sides of his big toes from where his work boots rub them everyday. And the micro pedi gently rubbed them right off, so needless to say we were both very impressed!

I now use this as a regular part of my home pedicure routine and I honestly don't know how I ever lived without this little gem. If you like to do your own pedi's or know someone that does, then I would highly recommend this product. I was going to add before and after pictures of my feet in this post, but since my legs and feet both broke out recently from my vascular disease, they aren't exactly the prettiest feet in the world so I thought I would spare you from having to see that. But, if you just really want to see them, feel free to email me and I will be happy to show you the results I got with it.

You can find this product in most drugstores, and big chain stores like Walmart and Target and it is also available online by many retailers as well including Amazon.

Any of you guys gave this a try yet?

***I received this as a road test product to review from a PR company

Smile Brilliant Teeth Whitening System Review & GIVEAWAY!

                                                                    Teeth Whitening

Have you ever heard the saying "Keep a smile on your face, it's the best accessory you will ever wear." Well if you haven't heard it before, you have now. And think about it, it's so true! Your smile is one of the first things people notice about you when you meet. And if you are typically someone who smiles a lot, you are generally looked at as a much happier person in general. And I don't know how important these things are to you, but for me personally they are very important.

Being someone who drinks massive amounts of coffee and unsweet tea on the daily, I need all the help I can get with whitening my smile. So I am super excited to tell you about the amazing teeth whitening system by SMILE BRILLIANT that I have had the pleasure of getting to review for you guys. In the past, I have tried all sorts of whitening products from jumping in "30 minute Whitening Chair" at the mall and then having horrible sensitivity issues afterward, to those messy gel pens, down to the basic white strips that different brands carry. I don't honestly mind the whitening strips, but I hate how when you use them you tend to drool all over yourself like a teething baby. But with the custom made teeth whitening trays you receive with the Smile Brilliant kit, they fit like a glove and there is no mess at all. Just simple, easy, no mess whitening!

Pictured above is what you will receive in your kit

     In the Kit:

  • Professional Teeth Whitening Gel
  • Impression Material to make your own custom dental impressions (With extra material)
  • 3 Way, Pre-paid postage (For you to return your dental impressions back to their lab)
  • Detailed Instructions
  • 2 Year Teeth Whitening tray replacement warranty
  • Carrying Case to house your whitening trays in

So the first thing you will need to do after you have received your kit is to go over all the instructions, which are very simple and easy to understand. Then, you want to go ahead and make your dental impressions so you can get them sent off to the lab as quickly as possible. I did mine in my kitchen late one evening and it literally only took me about 20 minutes from start to finish. You basically mix a blue putty with a catalyst paste and then press it down into the blue molds. Then you will press your upper row of teeth down into the paste mixture and give it a few minutes to harden. Once you have completed that step, then you move on to your lower teeth and repeat the same simple steps. After that, you simply rinse the molds with cold water and let them dry overnight. Then you will ship them back to the lab in the pre paid envelope that is included with your kit. Once you have shipped them off, you will receive a confirmation email once they have been received at the lab. And then once the lab ships out your custom made trays, they will also send you tracking info so that you can keep up with when you will receive them. I was very impressed with how the company "kept me in the loop" with everything!

And another thing that really impressed me about the company is their 100% money back guarantee. They are so confident that you will love their product, that they offer a "no questions asked" money back guarantee! All you have to do is return the custom bleaching trays within 45 days and and they will issue you a full product refund. Now that says a lot about a company to me when they stand that strongly behind their products! Smile Brilliant is not just a random company that makes tooth whitening products but rather an actual dental lab designed to help their customers receive true professional grade teeth whitening without ever having to visit a dentists office. (Can you say SCORE!!!!)

(Picture taken BEFORE I started using Smile Brilliant)
(Also for reference: This photo was taken in my Beauty/Filming room with artificial lighting)

The whitening gel that Smile Brilliant uses is 22% Carbamide Peroxide and that is the same amount that the American Dental Association recommends for at home whitening treatments. I was a little worried at first about whether or not I was going to experience some increased sensitivity like I have before with other at home treatments. I did have some increased sensitivity after using but it was very mild. So mild, that I never even bothered using the de-sensitizing gel. The best way I found that works for me personally is to use after dinner every other day. Or every 2-4 days, depending on your preference obviously and how badly your teeth are stained. I found that after dinner seems to be my laziest and best down time so I would put in my trays and watch tv for about an hour. If you get yourself into a routine of doing it regularly then it just becomes like second nature. And after you finally achieve the level of whitening that you are happy with, maintaining it will not be a problem either. You can always order more gel and de-sensitizing gel from the Smile Brilliant website. And just a side note about the de-sensitizing gel, it not only helps with the increased sensitivity but also helps you prevent re-staining of your teeth.

I have been using this kit for several weeks now and I am completely THRILLED with my results! I am one of those people who has always used whitening products, but have just never been able to find one that would get me the results I wanted. And this product has by far surpassed my expectations. I will be using Smile Brilliant as a regular part of my dental hygiene from now on. If you are interested in trying it for yourself, they have given me a coupon code for you to use to get 5% off your purchase price. AND they are giving away one complete set to one of my lucky readers as well.

(AFTER using Smile Brilliant for 1 Month 2-3 times a week)
(For reference: This photo was taken in Natural Daylight and I was wearing self tanner on my face, neck and chest. - Hence my slightly Orange Appearance)

Can you see why I am so impressed with this kit? I think the level of whitening I achieved is fantastic and I cannot wait to try it for a 3 hour period. This whole experience has made me feel so much more confident. I have always hated my teeth so much that I rarely even smile with them showing. But having whiter/brighter teeth has taken my confidence to a whole new level. And everyone deserves to feel this happy with their appearance. So do yourself a favor and give Smile Brilliant a try. The Navarre Beach Marine Science Center is having a "Spooktacular Science By The Sea" night this month to raise much needed funds for the facility. They are actually a classroom that is not open to the public but they will let you schedule private tours if you are interested. During the week, the local high school kids are taught marine biology there. And then on evenings and weekends, the high school kids then teach younger children about what they have learned. The facility also does a yearly camp for autistic children that is absolutely amazing. I wanted to get involved and help them out in some way, so I put together a gift basket full of makeup, beauty and hair products and even a few things from bath and body works. It is going to be added to some items that other local businesses have donated to be raffled off to raise money for the facility. I donated the basket on behalf of my blog and the sweet director Heather, who picked up my basket yesterday told me that they are going to add my blogs name on their banner for local contributors. Isn't that awesome? I know it's not much, but Heather seemed very appreciative of my donation and I'm sure that some other beauty lover out there will gladly purchase some raffle tickets for a chance to win my goodies. I love helping out local charities like this one so it felt good being able to help.

For all of you locals who may be interested in this event:

When: October 28th and 29th
Time: 5-9 PM
Cost: $5 Per Person, Children age 2 and under are free

There will be creeps of the deep and an endangered species cemetery, to science that glows in the dark, to many amazing sea creatures to feast your eyes on. You can also explore sea themed stations for treats and experience science by some of your favorite teachers. There will also be a puppet show and dissections by Dr. Spookfish, to a haunted beach walk! This event is kid friendly and they highly encourage you all to come dressed as your favorite animal from the sea.

If Allen and I go, I'm pretty sure he will be dressing up as a shark and I'll be.... A Mermaid, of course!

Hope to see some of my Florida Friends there for this amazing cause! Bring the kids and bring your wallets to buy some raffle tickets!

Thankful Thursday

This past week has been another busy, busy week for me. I had three doctor appointments last week that I had to get to before work. And anytime I have appointments before work I am always a little bit nervous because you know how doctors offices can get really backed up and then your running behind the rest of your day. And I am one of those people who just hates being late anywhere, but especially to work. So after my appointment on Monday I received a call from my primary care physician's office saying that they wanted me to come in to discuss my blood work with my Doctor. Now normally they just call and give me the results over the phone so I went into an instant panic mode thinking "Oh great, what's wrong with me now." So I made an appointment for the very next morning at 10 am so I could go ahead and get the news over with. Well it turns out that the majority of my blood work was actually all good. She said my thyroid is functioning properly (Now that I am on medication again for it) and that both my good and bad cholesterol were both good as well as many other things that were way "out of whack" before. So I finally said, okay let's get to the bad news...

Basically she told me that I am severely anemic. And it's all because my menstrual cycles are so extremely heavy. I had actually stopped having cycles for 11 months and then all the sudden out of nowhere I started getting them again. And sorry for TMI, but they are absolutely awful when I have them. She explained that my body was expelling blood faster than it could make new blood. So that explains why I have been feeling so weak and tired all the time! I ended up having a blood transfusion and was put on iron supplements, so hopefully I will be feeling more energized soon. I feel like all I do anymore is go to the doctor and work, work, work. Because then once I am home, I'm so exhausted that I don't feel like doing anything. I have had to literally push myself just to put up blog posts so that I don't lose all of the followers that I have worked so hard to get. I apologize for not putting up posts regularly, but I'm sure you guys understand why now. So now the big question is whether or not to have a hysterectomy. My doctor said she highly recommends me getting one as soon as possible to eliminate me having cycles anymore and therefore putting me at less risk of such severe blood loss. I am usually one to always do anything my doctor suggests but I am absolutely torn on this subject. I have heard some women say that getting a hysterectomy was one of the best things they have ever done for themselves and others who say that it has made their lives awful. Plus, as most of you know, I have wanted to be a mother for such a long, long time. And even though we have "technically" quit trying to conceive, I still have that hope in the back of my mind that we might still receive our miracle one day. So if I go ahead with the surgery then that means absolutely 100% no chance ever of conceiving. I know I probably sound like a crazy woman since we did decided to end our journey and stop trying. But after all of those years and years of wanting to be a mom, those feelings don't just go away over night. So needless to say, I am throughly confused right now and all I want to do is sleep. But, things could always be worse so I am thankful that even with all of these health issues I am facing that they are all nothing major. And like I have said many times before, thank goodness I have a great husband who is always more than willing to help out and take care of me.

On a happier note, Allen participated in the Navarre Fishing Rodeo with his team Real Sharking and they did really well. He is truly turning out to be quite the Saltwater Fisherman and I am so proud of him. He is passionate about the fishing but also about safe catching and releasing of the fish. His motto is, "If you're not going to eat it, you need to return it to it's home." We have learned so much about the marine life in the area and about things we can do to help protect our environment. This is something that we are both very passionate about now and one of the reasons that we love living on the gulf so much. Plus, there is always somewhere nearby to go fishing....

Team Real Sharkin Left to Right:

                                                                                                          Allen, Andy, Mikey and Mike

As usual, lots of things to be thankful for this week.    :)

Anything going on in your life right now that you are truly thankful for?

Stowaway Cosmetics Creme Lipsticks

Until a few weeks ago, I had never even heard of this brand. But luckily for me, a friend sent me these three gorgeous lippies from the brand. The concept of the company is that they make "The Right-Sized Makeup" that is designed to fit into your life so you can feel beautiful anywhere. So everything in the line is mini sized, or small enough so that the products don't take up massive amounts of room in your handbag or makeup cases. And besides that, how many of us truly ever use a whole entire full sized lipstick anyway? I know I rarely do. So this line and whole concept really has my attention.

I mean how adorable are these mini lipsticks? I usually cannot resist anything in a mini size. There is just something about it that takes me back to my childhood days that I absolutely love. So if your a fan of all mini things like me, then you would probably enjoy these little lippies as well.

                                                                                                                The Formula:

Highly Pigmented
Long Wearing
Super Creamy
Very Opaque

Shown Left to Right: Muted Plum, Cranberry and Raspberry

These are so pigmented that they do stain, so beware! I had to use two makeup wipes just remove the remaining Muted Plum off my lips after wearing for over 6 hours of work one day. (Which I was actually quite impressed with) I wore it all day long all while sipping on coffee and water throughout my day and it even survived after I had a salad for lunch as well. So they definitely have great staying power as well. They did not pass the kiss test though, it did transfer onto my hubby lips when I kissed him after getting home for the day. But I think overall these lipsticks are not only adorable but also a well made, great formulation. I will admit that I was a little shocked at the $15 price on these, but if we're just being fair, that is half of a $30 high end lipstick. So after thinking about it for a while, I can totally justify the price now. Besides that, I think the products themselves are amazing.

                                                                                                  (Me wearing the Muted Plum)

One thing that I saw on the company's website that I really thought was cool is that you can build a customized kit for yourself for only $75 (Which is roughly about $12-$13 per product). If you would like to check out their website you can do that by clicking here:

By the way, this post is NOT SPONSORED in any way, I just received these as a gift from my friend Cherisse and I was so impressed by them that I just had to write a quick review on them for you guys. So I hope that you enjoyed it. Please let me know if you have ever tried anything from this brand and what you thoughts are on their products.

Stay Beautiful And Blessed!

Thankful Thursday

This past week has been busy, busy, busy for me! My sister and niece were here over the past weekend and we had so much fun hitting the beaches and getting to go shopping together. Then I had back to back doctor appointments on Monday and Tuesday. And then on Tuesdays appointment that led me to making to another appointment for this Friday morning where I have to go in when they open at 8am and do some "fasting" blood work. I don't know about y'all, but I hate having to get up and get going without my morning cup of coffee so that should be interesting... I am still healing well from my breakout of HSP but now my doctors are also leaning towards that I have some sort of Autoimmune disorder. So we are trying to get that all sorted out now and figure out exactly which one I might have. I feel like I am always running to appointments now but I am so thankful for the team of doctors that I have trying to help me figure everything out and get to the bottom of all these crazy health issues I've been having. Now if I could just get some energy back and start sleeping well again, that would be great!

I guess hurricane Matthew should be hitting the East coast of Florida at some point today. I can't even imagine how scared I would be if I lived on that coast and in the path of this storm. We live in the Northwest part of Florida (Near the bottom right corner of Alabama near Gulf Shores) So luckily for us, we are no where near this storm. But honestly, the longer I love here, the more I get nervous about living on the water. And we are just on the bay water, and not the gulf. But these storms usually hit both really hard. After seeing the news footage of Haiti and Cuba, it has totally freaked me out. All of those poor people in Haiti just have no where to go. Could you even imagine? I have been praying constantly for the safety of all people that are in the path of this storm. This is one scary storm!

I hope that you all are having a great week so far, and that you and all of your families and friends who might be in the path of Matthew stay safe.

Kate Moss For Rimmel Rose Gold Lipsticks

A few weeks back, I watched a Sam Schuerman video on youtube where she mentioned a few of these lovely Kate Moss for Rimmel lipsticks. I love anything Rose Gold, so the packaging just screamed to me and the three nude shades that Sam had were also the exact type of shades that I love to wear. So I went out on a hunt for these beauties and just could not find them anywhere, not even online! And even now that I have had them a few weeks, they are still no where to be found here in NW Florida. So I bet you're wondering how I managed to get my hands on them. Well, luckily for me, my blogger bestie HOPE from Beautyandbliss67 was able to find them for me in her hometown in Kentucky. So she was kind enough to buy these three for me and put them in the Fall swap box she sent me. Wasn't that sweet of her? That's one of the awesome perks to having internet friends around the world. Because if you can't find something you want, then maybe one of your friends can find it for you and vice versa...

This collection was released in the UK last month to celebrate this being the 15th year that Kate Moss has been the face behind the brand. They chose well with this bold and beautiful Rose Gold packaging and of course they had to add Kate's cute signature on the lid as well. There are 6 shades in this line that include three nude shades and three brights. Now that I have already tried out all three of the nudes, I am in absolute LOVE with them all and I am seriously thinking about getting the three brights as well. The brights are three different shades of Red and I think any of them would be gorgeous for the upcoming holidays. I found a picture to share with you guys so that you can see what the brights look like from

The three bright shades in the collection are:

Idol Red: A gorgeous Orange toned Red
Muse Red: A true Blue toned Red
Retro Red: A rich Crimson/Blood Red

The three Nudes in the collection are:

Rock N Roll Nude: A perfect Peachy-Nude
My Nude: A wearable Buff-Beige Nude
Boho Nude:

These all have the classic sweet Rimmel scent to them that I have grown to love. And they also have that great classic lasting finish that Rimmel lipsticks have become known for as well. The texture of the nudes is amazing and I find that it is actually kind of hard for nude products to pull off such gorgeous pigmentation, but Rimmel hit a "home run" with these! They have a lovely satin finish that feels nice and creamy on the lips. They don't dry out at all, but I do have to re-apply after eating or drinking. But since these feel so great on the lips I don't mind having to re-apply at all.

                                                                                       (Swatches done under Fluorescent Lighting)

#54 Rock N Roll Nude
#55 My Nude
#56 Boho Nude

                                                                                                            (Swatches in Natural Daylight)

Wearing #54 Rock N Roll Nude

                                                                                                                    Wearing #55 My Nude

                                                                                                                Wearing #56 Boho Nude

While I am a fan of dramatic makeup or a good smokey eye, on me personally I really prefer a simple, natural look. So these nudes are perfect for the type of daily makeup looks that I tend to wear. And I can feel confident in wearing them at work too as they are very work appropriate. I think that Rimmel lipsticks in general are the best drugstore choice out there and they just keep on perfecting their formulas. Overall I am completely in love with not only the shades in this collection but also with the packaging. Well done Rimmel, And congrats to Kate Moss for 15 years with them!

Thankful Thursday

Later on today my sister Christie and my niece Hailey will be arriving in town and I cannot wait to see them! I have not seen them since earlier in the Summer so it's been a "hot minute" since we have all been together. If you read last week's Thankful Thursday post then you already know that this is going to be our early "Thanksmas" where we will be celebrating a very early Thanksgiving and Christmas together this weekend. It's not what we want to do, but unfortunately it is the only time we can all get together between now and the first of next year. So as they say, "It is, what it is." So I plan on enjoying my time with them while they are here, all while also getting in some much needed BEACH TIME. I had an appointment this past Tuesday with my dermatologist who has been overseeing the blisters healing on my legs and feet and she finally cleared me to get back into the water (Ocean water, that is!) So we will be heading out to the beaches in Destin, Fort Walton and Navarre over the next few days. I am going to teach my niece how to snorkel and I am hoping that she loves it as much as I do. I will have to be very careful not get my legs sunburned or else it could complicate my healing process, but I've been living here long enough to know how to take care of my skin so I should be fine. Either way, I am just so ready to get back out there and try to enjoy the last few weeks of warm weather that we will have before it gets to chilly to swim anymore. I am feeling really blessed today that I have my family here and continue to keep getting good reports and news from all of my doctors. Life. Is. So. Good!

Here are a few pictures from our last time together....

I hope you all are having a great week so far! Thanks for stopping by my blog today. I truly appreciate it.

Stay Beautiful & Blessed!

BROADWAY Matte Lip Lacquer

This is one of those totally unexpected beauty finds that blew my mind! I found this BROADWAY Matte Lip Lacquer at my local Dollar General store one day when I had ran in to grab some cleaning products. Dollar General is not normally somewhere that I would shop for makeup at, but when I saw these matte lip lacquers on an end cap they totally caught my eye so I had to stop and have a look. You know I love my nudes and baby Pinks, so this one just had to come home with me. These retail for $3 which I think is a really good price point for a drugstore lip product. But with that being said, I didn't really have any expectations for this since it was so inexpensive.

There are only a few shades available in this line and this Pink shade is honestly the only one I would wear personally. But there are a couple of other shades available including a Hot Pink, a dark Wine/Berry shade and a Navy Blue one as well. I searched and searched all over the internet trying to find out more about this range and came up with nothing. So I don't know if this line was a limited edition or what the deal is. But I do know that others have found these and liked them as well because  there are a few beauty reviews on them and I just watched a Youtube video that a friend of mine did and she had this Pink matte lip lacquer in her favorites video last month. I also went back to my Dollar General store to see if they still had these and they do. Now whether or not you will be able to find them, who knows? But if you see them, I suggest at least grabbing one to try for yourself. For these to be a matte formula, the creamy consistency of them is unreal. You know how when you apply a matte liquid lip and the minute they dry your lips instantly feel almost like if you smile they are going to crack? Well you won't have to worry about that with these. These will dry matte but stay nice and creamy. You can even still rub your lips together like you would do with a lip balm and it doesn't budge and still looks nice and matte. It's actually kind of crazy how good these are, especially for the price.

The shade I chose is a nice, baby pink nude and it looks lovely with my hair and skin tone. I didn't see a name on the packaging anywhere so I can't even tell you what the name of it is. But I love it so much that I am hoping to grab a couple more before they quit carrying them. I looked online to see if the brand BROADWAY Colors has a website to purchase from as well but they don't. And I think I have only seen this brand at DG and Dollar Tree before. Have any of you ever seen this brand before and if so, where have you seen it available at? Now that I have tried this and love it, I WANT MORE!

These are the other shades available in the line

I think the dark berry shade would be gorgeous for Fall (I just can't pull off dark shades like that or I would have totally grabbed that one as well.) But I might try the Hot Pink if they have that one when I go back. I just can't get over how amazing this feels on my lips. It dries so nice and wears almost just like a lip balm! Sorry this post is so short, but I wasn't really planning on doing a review on this at all. But when something really works and surpasses your expectations, you just want to tell people about it, ya know?

Have any of you guys tried one of these?

The Hometown Hunt

How many of you spend time hunting for fun things to do in and around your own hometown each weekend? For me, this is called a "Hometown Hunt" and it's something that my husband and I love to challenge ourselves with. We like to make our weekend plans well before the weekend actually comes (Thanks to me, the avid planner) so we will start discussing our next weekend by Sunday evening. As most of you already know, we live less than 10 minutes from Fort Walton Beach so we are in a super touristy area. (Yes, "touristy" is a word I made up). Anyway, so of course we have plenty of different beach options and all of the usual coastal town activities like fishing charters, paddle boarding, Dolphin tours, snorkeling and tons of museums. But what do we do for Fall? We have tons of fun, festive Fall activities here in NW Florida as well, so I thought I might share some of them with you!

One of the most awesome things that our area hosts each Fall is the "Take A Kid Fishing Day" that happens at the Navarre Beach Pier. It usually happens around the first of October and it is a completely free event where everyone is invited and encouraged to come out and fish. But the focus is on teaching the kids about the importance of safe fishing and safe catch and release practices. The first 200 children also get a free fishing pole, t-shirt, sunscreen and a bottle of water. And everyone can take advantage of free fishing lessons and different educational stations that will be set up along the pier. This event has a great turn out each year with many locals and visitors all enjoying it.

Then we have the traditional Pumpkin farms to visit as well. Sweet Seasons farms is the most popular with the locals. I haven't actually been to this one myself but I plan on going soon because this is the 50 Year celebration of "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" and the Sweet Seasons farm is celebrating this fun milestone as well. Activities here include the corn maze (pictured above), hayride, corn cannons, corn hole, pumpkin bowling, the sunflower speedway (go carts), pony rides, barnyard petting zoo and lots more. And they even have a gorgeous field of sunflowers that would make a perfect place to take family photos!

This next one you can enjoy year round but my husband and I prefer to enjoy these types of activities in the Fall once the weather has cooled off a little. Adventures Unlimited has everything from rustic cabin rentals, zip lining over the tree tops, to kayaking and paddle boarding on Coldwater Creek. Most of the cabins have outdoor fire pits to enjoy an evening under the stars and fireplaces so you can cuddle with your love on chilly evenings. And their cabins range form super rustic with no indoor bathroom facilities to more modern cabins with full kitchens and deluxe master bedrooms and baths. I think a weekend away in one of these cabins sounds perfect for a little Fall get away!

You can't visit Navarre Beach and not go to Juanas! So why not come in October and enjoy Oktoberfest! Not only can you taste beers from all around the world, but you can enjoy some if the best views around on the bay. The tiki hut bar is one of our favorite spots to have a cold drink and watch the sunset at. Then you can head on over to the Sailor's grill for a nice dinner by the water. Juana's has tons of fall festivities as well, with everything from regular live music concerts, to Corn Hole and Volleyball tournaments, to Wine tasting and a huge yearly Halloween Costume party. This spot is a local favorite and one that I would highly recommend to anyone.

One place where you can always find something fun to do is The Harborwalk Village in Destin. They have jam packed their Fall schedule with lots of great things to do. Their is the Destin Seafood Festival that is the first weekend in October. Fish the days and Rock the Nights concert series. This event let's anglers compete in the ultimate fishing tournament and then in the evening you can watch all of the days catch being brought in and afterwards there is a fireworks celebration. This goes on every weekend during the month of October. They also have a great "Pumpkinpalootza" Halloween party on October 29th and 30th. It begins with a live concert, then there is an adult ghoulish costume contest and then fireworks at 9Pm. Then on Sunday it os more catered towards the kiddos with lots of fun, family activities that include arts and crafts and even a pets costume contest. And of course the kids can trick or treat at all the shops along Harborwalk Village that day. There is no admission cost but I would recommend arriving early because these events get really crowded and parking is not always easy to find.

See, our little beach towns do have plenty Fall activities! Are you planning on hosting some type of activity in your own hometown? If so, then I would recommend using EventBrite to help you sell tickets to your event. This is the best way to sell your tickets online. And your event doesn't have to be huge to use their services either! So check out their website today and see if they might be a good fit to help you with your own event or festival. I hope that if you ever get a chance to visit the gorgeous gulf coast that you won't forget how amazing it is here in the fall as well. And like I've mentioned in the above post, I promise you there is still plenty to do here in the fall. If you have any questions about any of these events feel free to leave them in my comments and I will be happy to answer them for you!

Stay Beautiful & Blessed! <3
